- 1. Consolidate your understanding of note & rest values
- 2. Practice naming notes in both the treble and bass
- * Remember the following steps as you prepare to answer each question:
- 1. Identify which clef you're in (treble or bass)?
- 2. Is the note on a line or in a space?
- 3. Is there an accidental (sharp, flat, natural)?
- 4. Use the rhymes you learnt in class to identify the note.

Take time over the next two days to familiarize yourself with:
Music Instruments, Instrument Families, and Instrument Classification.
You may have already seen some of these video tutorials in class but watching them again may be helpful.

The major assignment for this unit is designing & making a home-made music instrument. At grade 10 level we are less concerned about what it looks like and more concerned about how it sounds and how it produces sound!
You'll find the assignment and relevant instructions on Teams
Feel free to include your family/ siblings/ parents - collaboration can be fun and can enhance your project.
